Pierre Harvey à la Maison O’Neill
Dimanche dernier, dans le cadre du Weekend rétro de la Maison O’Neill à Québec, c’était au tour de Pierre Harvey de monter sur les planches. Le fils du regretté Guy Harvey, chanteur soliste du groupe Les Gendarmes, nous a transportés dans les années ‘60.
L’homme qui a hérité de la voix de son père a non seulement rendu un hommage aux Gendarmes, mais aussi à d’autres groupes québécois des années ‘60. C’est avec une joie évidente que le chanteur a interprété, entre autres, des succès des Bel-Airs, des Classels et de César et les Romains. Le spectacle s’est terminé par une belle surprise, soit la chanson Miserere, un défi vocal relevé avec brio.
La foule a adoré le spectacle. Plus tard dans l’après-midi, plusieurs parlaient encore de la voix d’or de Pierre Harvey. Ce dernier a lancé l’été passé un excellent album, Hommage aux Gendarmes, disponible lors des différents concerts et festivals auxquels il participe.
